Quality is built into the production of our products by application of ISO 9000 process management for Ready Mix and Environmental Management systems for other production processes. Our management process follows the EFQM business excellence format as we manage continuous improvement throughout the business.

The Norman Emerson Group has a BS8555 Environmental Management Award for its Lough Neagh Sand, and is backed up by its own in-house laboratory facilities where testing is carried out on all of the Group products.

"Consistency" is a major factor with companies using sand in their manufacturing processes, and we are constantly meeting those consistency levels," says George Emerson, managing director. 

As a member of the Association of Landscape Contractors of Ireland, the Natural Stone Centre is well known in the sector.  The Norman Emerson Group is also a nominated preferred supplier of the Gardening Inside Out Group.

Winner of the Craigavon Small Business Environmental Award 2001, Norman Emerson have constructed a small marina with slipway providing land and water based access to and from Lough Neagh adjacent to the sand quay at Ardmore Derryadd, Lurgan.
